1. Scope
Effective October 1, 2026. This Privacy Notice explains how AuditRes LLC collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains information when you visit getauditres.com, contact us, create an account, or use an AuditRes workspace.
2. Information we collect
- Contact and account information: name, work email, company, phone number when provided, authentication information, organization membership, and account settings.
- Business and workspace data: invoices, contracts, statements, CSV files, transaction records, findings, recovery records, evidence, and other business records you choose to provide.
- Support information: questions, requests, troubleshooting details, and communications with AuditRes.
- Technical and usage information: device, browser, IP address, security events, session activity, and service usage information needed to operate and secure the service.
- Billing and marketplace information: subscription status, transaction or customer identifiers, purchased product or entitlement information, and related billing metadata. Payment-card details for Paddle transactions are processed by Paddle and are not collected by AuditRes.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure AuditRes, authenticate users, maintain organization boundaries, process requested workflows, provide support, manage subscriptions and entitlements, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability and usability, communicate about the service, and comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, authenticate, support, communicate, analyze, or bill for the service, but only as reasonably necessary for those functions. Where you purchase through Paddle or AWS Marketplace, relevant purchase, customer, and entitlement information may be exchanged with those providers to complete and support the transaction.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of business assets subject to appropriate protections.
5. Cookies and local storage
AuditRes may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, session continuity, preferences, security, and service operation. Where analytics or other optional technologies are enabled, they may also be used to understand site and product usage.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and security records, meet contractual requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the applicable customer relationship.
7. Security
AuditRes uses administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and loss. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Sensitive information and PHI
Do not submit passwords, payment-card data, medical records, or other sensitive information through the general Ask AuditRes form. Protected health information may be uploaded only after AuditRes has expressly confirmed PHI-enabled access for the applicable organization.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restrictions concerning certain personal information. Requests can be submitted through Ask AuditRes. We may need to verify identity and authority before completing a request, and some information may be retained where legally permitted or required.
10. International processing
AuditRes and its service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Where required, appropriate legal mechanisms are used for cross-border processing.
11. Children
AuditRes is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through the service.
12. Changes to this Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are published.
